Course Description

Students learn vocabulary, methods, and practices of concrete and concrete form construction. They perform testing procedures in accordance with the ASTM standards. The students learn about, and how to prepare different concrete mix designs. Students pour and finish concrete. Students also design and draw a concrete stair form and erect several types of concrete form systems. The students learn how to work safely in a concrete construction environment.
