Practicum Requirement

Women's Health students must complete the following:

  • 1 (3cr) practicum in Adult Gero Primary Care (Total 3 credits).
  • 3 (3cr) practicums in Women's Health (Total 12 credits).

15 credits of practicum are required.  Requirements are to be completed as follows:

  • NP-861A - Taken in Spring Term, Year II.
  • NP-881A - Can be taken in Summer Term, Year II or in Fall Year III.
  • NP-881A and NP-881B - Taken in Fall Year III if no practicum in Summer Year II.
  • NP-881B and NP-881C - Taken in Fall Year III if NP-881A taken in Summer Year II.
  • NP-881C and NP-881D - Taken in Spring Year III if no practicum in Summer Year II.
  • NP-881D - Taken in Spring Year III is NP-881A taken in Summer Year II.
