4.3 Participation in Distance Learning Courses
Participation guidelines for online courses are posted in the syllabus of each course. The faculty expects participation to occur within the provided timelines for all discussions, assignments, and examinations. Timely participation is important to maximize interaction and collaborative learning in an online environment. Students must notify faculty in advance if they expect they won’t meet participation guidelines. Failure to do so may have adverse effects on the grades received.
