Campus Ministry
Rev. Mark F. DeMott, C.S.C., interim director
Campus ministry proclaims God's unconditional love for all people and preaches the good news of the coming of the Kingdom of God. Rooted in the Roman Catholic tradition, campus ministry seeks to nurture the faith of all students, faculty, and staff. Campus ministry also helps to promote the University's Catholic and Holy Cross identity.
Animated by the local community of the Congregation of Holy Cross in collaboration with professionally-trained lay ecclesial ministers, campus ministry offers many opportunities for faith development. Masses are celebrated in the beautiful Chapel of Christ the Teacher, and the Chapel is open throughout the day for quiet reflection and prayer. In addition to a rich liturgical life, offerings include retreats, faith-sharing groups, sacramental preparation and pastoral counseling. There are many opportunities for student leadership development.
Campus ministry's main offices are in Saint Mary's Student Center. There is a campus ministry office in the Pilot House as well.
