North Carolina Education Lottery Scholarship (ELS)
The North Carolina Education Lottery Scholarship program was created by the 2005 General Assembly to provide financial assistance to needy North Carolina residents. Students must be enrolled at least six credit hours per semester at an eligible college in the state of North Carolina. Students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to apply for the ELS. Grants will range from $100 to $2,950 for the year.
