Board of Trustees

The Howard Community College Board of Trustees is composed of seven volunteer members who are appointed by the Governor with the advice and consent of the Maryland Senate. Each trustee term is six years and trustees can be appointed for two full terms. The board of trustees serves as the college’s governance board and is responsible for the accountability of the college and supporting its mission of providing pathways to success. It operates the college as a public trust for the benefit of the citizens of Howard County.
