Student Injuries
Howard Community College does not provide medical coverage for students who are accidentally injured during classes or who suffer injuries as a result of incidents between students. All students are encouraged to obtain their own medical insurance, especially if they participate in classes and/or activities which require physical activity or exposure to other health risks (e.g. nursing classes, science labs, physical education activities, dance and theater classes, clubs and student government activities, etc.). Students with injuries or illnesses can contact Public Safety at 443-518-5500 or for emergencies call 911.
