HP-852 Measurement, Psychometric Theory and Application

Prerequisite: Successful completion of a graduate level research course or instructor's permission. This applied course integrates psychometric theory with the appropriate statistical testing that comprises the more advance assessing procedures that are utilized in real-world data-analyses. Students will learn how to evaluate if the psychometric properties of the cores meet acceptable levels for research or high stakes decisions as well as to identify sources of errors that attenuate score reliability/validity.
