Prerequisite: none. This course introduces the basic concepts of chemistry and integrates a range of topics and concepts which are crucial to health science majors. Selected areas of General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Biochemistry will be covered with a focus on how these topics relate to health care through physiology and pharmacology.
