HE-991 Mentored Res 1 & Dissert Sem

Prerequisite: Enrollment in PhD in Health Professions Education program and HE-744. This is the first course in the three-course doctoral research sequence, designed to prepare students to become critical reviewers and creators of academic research at the doctoral level. Students will identify a research question, formulate an overarching research plan, perform a systematic review of literature, interpret meta-analyses, and develop a manuscript. Students will also learn how to use information management software to facilitate the review process.
