Course letter grade and Pass/Fail for clinical component.
This course is designed to integrate theory and research while caring for acute and chronic problems in adults. Patient care models will be used to examine common nursing diagnoses associated with acute and chronic conditions. Emphasis will be on the nurse's role in restoring and maintaining health and in managing patient and family responses to illness, hospitalization and surgery.
