PT-607N Pt/Client Mgmnt: LE/Gait

Prerequisites: Semesters 1 and 2, PT-606N. Using active learning strategies in the context of patient cases, students integrate the anatomy and functional mechanics underlying normal and disordered movement of the lower extremity into their emerging understanding of the patient/client management framework. Students identify and apply relevant examination and intervention elements to address lower extremity dysfunction. Gait analysis and wound assessment/management are included.
