PT-606N Pt/Client Mgmnt: Upper Extrem

Prerequisites: Semesters 1 and 2. Using active learning strategies in the context of patient cases, students integrate the anatomy and functional mechanics underlying typical and disordered movement of the upper extremity into their emerging understanding of the patient/client management framework. Students identify and apply relevant examination and intervention elements to address upper extremity dysfunction. Principles of orthotic management are also introduced.
