Curriculum Plan - SLP MS - Literacy with preparation for MA Dept. of Elem. and Second. Education Reading Specialist Licensure Concentration

Current Curriculum Plan - with Concentration in Literacy with preparation for MA DESE Reading Specialist Licensure

Total Core Required Credits: 70

(Core courses must be taken for letter grade.)

Total Elective Credits required: 2

Minimum credits required for graduation: 72


If students have already completed an undergraduate course in Aural Rehabilitation they must take 2 more credits of electives (4 instead of 2) to reach the total of 72 because they do not take CD 751 (Aural Rehabilitation).

Students take CD751 only if they have NOT taken an Aural Rehab course prior to matriculation. Students take CD752, Hearing Skills Seminar in the Fall semester, if they have already taken Aural Rehabilitation prior to matriculation.

Students may take HP821 in either spring or summer semester, year two.
