PhD Course of Study
The following required courses/seminars HE-942, HE-943, HE-930, HE-991, and HE-993 have required synchronous components over Zoom.
The curriculum plan below outlines the PhD Course of Study for a student who has selected electives focused on Interprofessional Education.
Other examples would include electives focused on:
Leadership & Administration:
- HE-946 (Advanced Topics in Leadership) in Fall Year 2
- HE-948 (Educational Administration in Health Professions Education) in Spring Year 2
instead of HE-945 and HE-947 in Fall Year 2 and HE-949 in Spring of Year 2.
Simulation-Based Education:
- HE-950 (Advanced Applications in Simulation-Based Education) in Summer
and either
- HE-990 Independent Study in any semester, Or HE-951 (Simulation Based Education Research Collaborative)
instead of HE-945 and HE-947 in Fall Year 2 and HE-949 in Spring of Year 2.
With approval, students may also customize their electives for their learning needs.
