NURS-103 Transitions Into Nursing II

At the completion of this course, students will be capable of applying theory to provide safe care for patients with common health problems. Selection of nursing actions is directed at variations resulting from five major categories of patient responses to stress (immobility, obstruction, infection, bleeding and alterations in perception).

Prerequisite: Admission into the LPN Pathway and completion of BIOL-107, BIOL-204, CHEM-103, ENGL-121, PSYC-200, and MATH-122, MATH-138, or higher.
