NURS-123 Foundations of Nursing Practice for the Experienced Health Care Provider

The student will develop and attain attitudes, knowledge and skills, both interpersonal and psychomotor, which are necessary to assist the patient in meeting health care needs. The curriculum framework and influence of the stress-adaptation process on basic needs and nursing care is emphasized. The student will select general nursing actions and develop competencies to meet patient needs required to deliver safe, technical nursing care to patients in long-term and acute care settings.
