LFIT-934 Qi Gong

This course introduces the student to the concepts and practice of Qi Gong, a series of ancient Chinese health-based exercises. The student will also learn about the history, types, and general training concepts of Qi Gong as they relate to developing optimal physical and mental health. Emphasis will be on helping the student to integrate the practice of Qi Gong into their regular health and fitness-development routines. The use of Qi Gong as a method of relaxation, meditation, and stress-reduction will also be examined.
