Application Procedures
Students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to begin the application procedure. The FAFSA link is available on the HCC website at www.howardcc.edu. In addition, students must be admitted to HCC and have a valid social security number (SSN) on file with Admissions and Advising before HCC can receive the FAFSA results.
Students who want to apply for Howard Community College Educational Foundation Scholarships should complete HCC's Online Scholarship Application at www.howardcc.edu/financialaid .
Students seeking any type of financial aid are strongly urged to apply by the March 1 priority filing date. Financial aid files completed by March 1st will be given first priority for limited grant funds. Applicants are encouraged to apply early for timely receipt of financial aid funds.
