THET 290 Production Seminar
This course combines the theoretical and practical aspects of theater by challenging students to take on leadership roles in a production as well as in the seminar class. Students have a production responsibility for the semester which may include performance, assisting members of the production team, or dramaturgy. In addition, all students will participate in a weekly seminar class through which the production work is synthesized with the liberal arts, specifically with theatrical, literary, philosophical, social, political, and economic aspects of the play and its themes.
