BMGT 137 Personal Leadership Development and Fundamental Management Practices

This course introduces emerging leaders to the basics of effective leadership practices while exploring and defining personal leadership competencies. The course curriculum includes a leadership skills assessment, development of a personalized Individual Leadership Development Plan (with focus on tactical and leadership skill development), self-directed learning to include shadow and mentor opportunities, as well as instructor facilitated learning, reading, and application of concepts through a team-based applied change project.
