DANC 152 Practicum in Performance: Directed Performance

This is a faculty guided, individual learning experience where students gain experience in rehearsal and performance to perform in an original choreographic work. Permission of Dance faculty is required.

Course Objectives

  1. Participate in a dance project focusing on a specialized area under the guidance of the Dance Department faculty.
  2. Articulate artistic vision behind a creative project.
  3. Demonstrate dance technique through attendance and participation in rehearsals and dance production.
  4. Demonstrate knowledge of one of more of the following production aspects of a dance performance (stage management, costume, lighting, set or sound design).
