ENTR 132 Customer Development for a Startup

This course is designed to provide the knowledge, skills, tools, and resources to explore possible customer channels, test and evaluate marketing results, and determine the best ways to acquire new customers and grow your business. This course is one of a series of courses that provides students with the coaching and guidance to plan for and launch a new business venture.

Course Objectives

  1. Identify and evaluate different customer channels for their potential in acquiring new customers for your business.
  2. Analyze the three most promising customer channels for your business and develop a method to test each of the customer channels for effective customer acquisition, and run each of these experiments.
  3. Evaluate the results of the experiment for each customer channel based on customer acquisition cost, number and quality of customers acquired, and the length of time it takes to acquire a customer.
  4. Implement A/B testing on the most promising customer channel to optimize marketing results.
