FILM 190 Hollywood Through the Decades

Hollywood Through the Decades focuses on a particular decade in American film history on a rotating basis and examines the values and culture reflected on the screen. The course will address thematic connections between Hollywood movies from the featured decade and American culture as a whole during that decade, examining predominant themes, stories, character types, and devices commonly used in movies from that period.
