This course prepares the program participants for planning and developing all aspects of course curriculum and provides opportunities for participants to participate actively in all of the learning components.

- Demonstrate an ability to use reference materials.
- Plan and develop all aspects of a course curriculum including a needs analysis, task
analysis, course goals and objectives, lesson plan, instructional support materials, and
evaluation instruments. - Discuss the need for and the use of various instructional methods and techniques.
- Use instructional materials and aids.
- Evaluate learning outcomes.
- Maintain training records and reports.
- Describe various concepts of learning.
- Use communications methods and skills effectively.
- Define instructor roles and responsibilities.
