Previously FINE 102. This is an interdisciplinary course that introduces students to how the humanities and their arts reflect ways of thinking about creativity and the human search for meaning in at least three of the following areas: architecture, dance, film, literature, music, painting, photography, sculpture, and/or theatre. Students approach cultural achievements as rooted in their historical settings, showing how the political, social, and economic events of each period influence their creation.
