Electrical Apprenticeship
The Electrical Apprenticeship program prepares students to become licensed electricians. The electrical curriculum is approved by the State of Nebraska Electrical Board. After completing the Electrical Apprenticeship program and the required on-the-job training (four years verifiable experience), students are prepared to take the examination for the Journeyman's Electrician License administered by the state of Nebraska.
Students who successfully complete a College-approved apprenticeship program through one of the local unions or an approved in-house company apprenticeship program may receive up to 56 credits toward an associate degree.
