Prerequisite

(1) Within two years prior to beginning the course, either successful completion of MATH 0910 or MATH 0930 with a grade of P, or MCC placement test - must be completed prior to taking this course.

Course Description

This is a fast-paced course for students who need to review basic algebra skills. It contains all of the content of both MATH 0930 Beginning Algebra Part 1 and MATH 0931 Beginning Algebra Part II. Topics include positive and negative real-numbers, solving linear equations and inequalities along with their applications, integer exponents, operations with polynomials, factoring, rational expressions, equations of lines, and graphing of linear equations and inequalities.
