(2) College-level reading, writing, and math proficiency; and PHYS 210B - must be completed prior to taking this course.

Corequisite

(1) PHYS 210CL - must be taken at the same time as this course.

Course Description

This course is the first of a calculus-based college physics sequence. The course is taught as three courses (PHYS 210A, 210B, and 210C), all of which must be successfully completed to transfer as a semester-length course. Topics for this portion of the course include kinetic theory, heat, and thermodynamics. Students registering for this course must also register for PHYS 210CL, which is the laboratory component of the course.
