This course provides a framework for evidence based nursing practice and health care system change as a synthesizing focus for nursing role development. Emphasis is on the basic concepts and processes of nursing research, and the application of these in the critical evaluation of research and clinical evidence for and application to clinical practice. Theories, concepts and models foundational to nursing clinical leadership and management will be explored to support innovation and improvement of nursing care.
