Baccalaureate Degree

  • Admission to a program at the MGH Institute requires the completion of a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution or equivalent foreign institution. This must be documented by an official copy of a transcript showing the conferral of a baccalaureate degree. Students who cannot provide official evidence of completing a baccalaureate degree upon matriculation are permitted to enroll for a maximum of one semester, during which time official evidence of a completed baccalaureate degree must be provided. If sufficient documentation is not provided by the end of the first term, admission will be revoked and the student will be removed from the program.
  • The baccalaureate-granting institution must have been accredited at the time the degree was awarded. Applicants must have earned a bachelor’s degree or higher from an institution that is regionally accredited by an organization recognized by the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), or from an accredited foreign institution that is recognized by the MGH Institute of Health Professions in it's sole discretion.
