CH-835 Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)

Prerequisites or by consent. Various low technology and high technology assistive devices for individuals with communication disorders will be discussed. Students will be exposed to both diagnostic and treatment considerations in augmentative communication. A unique feature matching approach will be emphasized with a case management format supplementing lectures.
