PT-740 Meas Principles for PT Pract
This course focuses on the application of measurement principles to the selection, use and interpretation of measurement tools in physical therapy practice. Students will learn to critically analyze common clinical tests and measures through discussion and literature searches that investigate measurement properties including reliability and validity, sensitivity, specificity, measures of responsiveness, components of the evaluation process, basic criteria for good measurement, the relationship of evaluation to the process of clinical judgment and to development of measurement protocols and documentation forms.
