2.2.3 Student Assistance Program (SAP)
Learners of the MGH Institute who may be experiencing difficulties that affect the personal life roles and academic performance are encouraged to use Partners Healthcare Student and Employee Assistance Program (SAP/EAP) at MGH. This program assists Institute learners in dealing with personal problems that may pose a threat to their health and well-being. The program assists with problems such as parenting concerns, marital and family distress, elder care, financial concerns, emotional stress, alcohol and drug dependency, and mental health. Confidential services include consultation, assessment, short-term counseling, and referrals. The SAP/EAP maintains a large network of carefully screened resources for all types of problems.
The Student Assistance Program (SAP) is located at the IHP Student and Alumni Center, Building 39. To learn more about how SAP can help, learners can schedule an appointment or call (866) 724-4327 for information. For more information, see their web page at http://www.eap.partners.org.
