Readmission

The readmission policy at the IHP SON is in alignment with the IHP SON progression policy.

1. A student dismissed for violation of professional behavior/conduct, per the IHP Student Rights Policy and the SON Professional Conduct and the Student’s Rights and Grievance Policy, is not eligible for readmission to the SON.
2. A student who fails a repeated course and has been dismissed from the SON is not eligible for readmission.
3. A prior student who has not been dismissed for any of the above reasons and has reapplied to the nursing program, and is in good standing in accordance with the SON progression policy is eligible for consideration for readmission to the nursing program one time only.
