G4. Student and Employee Assistance Program
Students experiencing difficulties that affect personal lives or program performance are encouraged to use the Mass General Brigham Student/Employee Assistance Program (SAP/EAP) for consultations, short-term counseling, information, and referral.
Counselors are normally available on campus two half-days each week. Students can be seen in any of Mass General Brigham SAP/EAP’s nine offices or speak with a counselor over the phone. The main location SAP/EAP office is at 175 Cambridge St. in the Charles River Plaza at MGH.
SAP/EAP counselors provide assessments, referrals, and short-term counseling (up to six visits). They can also connect students to more information about Mass General Brigham EAP/SAP’s many offerings such as – legal and financial resources, webinars, and online tools to support self-care and healthy life choices.
Services provided through SAP/EAP are free and confidential.
