LAN215 Issues in Biology

This course provides an introduction to a variety of topics in biology. Basic principles such as the scientific method, classical and molecular genetics, cloning health, global and environmental concerns are discussed. These enable the exploration of the scientific basis of current issues. This course cannot serve as a prerequisite to other biology courses. Credit cannot be received for both LAN215 and LAN110. Cannot be used to satisfy requirements or electives in majors or minors in any natural science field.
