LAN325 Human Genetics
This course covers the basics of human genetics. It focuses on the various modes of inheritance, including recessive, dominant, X-linked, polygenic, mitochondrial, tri-nucleotide expansions and genetic imprinting. Major genetic-based human diseases will be discussed. The molecular basis of inheritance and most recent knowledge of the human genome will be incorporated into the course.
