Mathematics Major, Elementary Education
Elementary Education students may select a major in Mathematics to fulfill their standard teaching concentration requirement.
This major requires:
- 45 QH including Mathematics courses taken as part of the General Education requirement
- 25 QH of upper level coursework
- 15 QH of the upper level courses must be taken at NLU
- A minimum of “C” in all coursework in the major
To complete this major, choose five courses from four of the seven Areas of Math listed below. Two of the courses must be in the same area.
