Sociology Minor, Elementary Education

Elementary Education students may select a minor in Sociology to fulfill their standard teaching concentration requirement.

This minor requires:

  • 30 QH in addition to Sociology courses taken as part of the General Education requirement
  • 15 QH of upper level coursework
  • 15 QH of the upper level courses must be taken at NLU
  • A minimum grade of “C” for each course in the minor

Note: For LAS 490 or LAS 495 the Independent Study or Special Topic must be in Sociology.
