English Minor
Applied Behavioral Sciences students may select a minor in English. Students will learn about the major writers and periods of British and American literature and the cultural traditions found in minority literature. They will also master the basics of language, rhetoric and composition theory and learn how to analyze and critique writing.
Minor Details:
- Requires 30 QH including English courses taken as part of the General Education requirement
- Requires 10 QH of upper level coursework
- 5 QH of the upper level coursework must be taken at NLU
- Requires a minimum grade of “C” for each course in the minor
