PHT 2162 Neuromuscular Therapeutic Techniques II

The pathology of complex neurological disorders and congenital deformities are presented. Specific topics include: cerebrovascular accidents, parkinsonism, Alzheimer's, and cerebral palsy. Therapeutic exercises and special facilitation techniques will be covered along with basic neuroanatomy. Special concerns related to physical therapy and the geriatric patient will be presented.
