Maximum Time Frame

Associate Degree Students

A student otherwise eligible for federal or state financial aid and enrolled in an associate degree program who has attempted more than 150% of the number of credit hours required in that program is not progressing at the required pace to complete the program within the required standard and therefore is considered to be making unsatisfactory academic progress. A change in the program of study does not extend a student's eligibility beyond the 150% credit hour maximum time frame.

Certificate Program Students

A student otherwise eligible for federal or state financial aid and enrolled in an approved certificate program who has attempted more than 150% of the number of credit hours required in that program is not progressing at the required pace to complete the program within the required standard and therefore is considered to be making unsatisfactory academic progress. A change in the program of study does not extend a student’s eligibility beyond the 150% credit hour maximum time frame.

Baccalaureate Degree Students

A student otherwise eligible for federal or state financial aid and enrolled in a baccalaureate degree program who has attempted more than 150% of the number of credit hours required in that program is not progressing at the required pace to complete the program within the required standard and therefore is considered to be making unsatisfactory academic progress. A change in the program of study does not extend a student’s eligibility beyond the 150% credit hour maximum time frame.
