HIM 2813C Coding Professional Practice
Professional practice for coding and will include intense exposure of all coding and reimbursement systems learned in the program. Topics include practicum utilizing case studies, scenarios, and coding examples in CPT, ICD-9-CM, ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS, etc. The student will reinforce learning and apply coding guidelines for appropriate reimbursement in both the inpatient and outpatient settings using 3M, Quantim, and V-Lab applications and exercises.
