Requirements for the Minor in English
The minor in English requires a minimum of 21 credit hours, no more than 9 credit hours at the 200 level and at least 12 credit hours in courses numbered 300 and above.
ENGL 100 may not be counted as part of the minor. A maximum of 9 credit hours may be transferred from other institutions toward the minor in English.
A maximum of 3 credit hours earned in internships and independent study may be counted toward the minor.
A maximum of 6 credit hours may be applied to the minor from the student’s major program.
All students must earn a grade of C or higher in each of their required courses.
