VI. Advanced Placement

1. College credit can be awarded on the basis of satisfactory scores on Advanced Placement (AP) and International Baccalaureate (IB) examinations. Three or more semester hours’ credit may be granted for each AP examination passed with a score of 4 or 5 and higher level IB examinations passed with a score of 5 or better. There is no grade attached to Advanced Placement or International Baccalaureate credit and it is not included in the grade point average of the student.
