MATH 215 Data Analysis
Designed to introduce the mathematically inclined student to the process of statistical investigation and the use of statistical software packages. Topics include descriptive statistics; sampling; estimation and hypothesis testing; simple and multiple linear regression models; and linear time series models including estimation, data analysis, and forecasting. Substantial projects using real-world data are required. Offered even years.
