BIOL 410 Limnology

An introduction to the history, structure, physical characteristics, and biota of lakes, river, and streams and to the physical, biological, and geochemical processes occurring there. One laboratory per week with some Sunday labs. Prerequisite: Junior standing in a science, mathematics, or engineering major or consent of instructor. Offered odd years on College Place campus. (College Place campus - 4 quarter hours; Rosario Beach Marine Laboratory - 5 quarter hours.) (Course fees apply.)
