MATH 215 Data Analysis

Designed to introduce the mathematically inclined student to the process of statistical investigation and the use of statistical software. Topics include visualization methods; basic probability; sampling; estimation and hypothesis testing; simple and multiple linear regression models; simple machine learning techniques; and linear time series models. Substantial projects using real-world data are required. Offered even years.
