This course covers the fundamentals of designing custom cabinets and built-ins for residential spaces. Topics include the design process, client relations, contractual documents, planning, material selection, cost estimation, development of a cut list, industry standardization, and common technologies/techniques. Upon completion, students should be able to work with clients and professionals to design custom cabinets and built-ins.
